Ready to apply? Here's everything you need to submit a complete application to the Master of Clinical Nutrition program.

1. Application
Submit your application through the Dietetics Inclusive Centralized Application Service (DICAS), including official transcripts, a resume or CV, three letters of recommendation, and a personal statement addressing motivation for pursuing dietetics, relevant experiences, career goals, and personal strengths/areas for growth. 
2. Interview 
Completed applications are reviewed by the MCN Admissions Committee, and qualified applicants are invited to interview.  Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted to schedule a campus visit with the committee.  Applicants are responsible for any expenses associated with the interview process. 
3. Offers are made
Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. The MCN Admissions Committee reviews each applicant's academic record, work and volunteer experience, personal statement, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and interview performance. Applicants recommended for admission will receive an offer of admission. 
4. Submit TOEFL Scores (if applicable)
The Test of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL) is required of all applicants for whom English is not their native language.  Official scores from ETS for the TOEFL must be received for your admission to the program. Send TOEFL scores via ETS using institution code 6681 and leave department code blank.
5. Apply to the University of Iowa Graduate College
After receiving an offer from the MCN program, complete the University of Iowa Graduate College application. Submit the online application to the Graduate College and pay the $60 application fee by credit card ($100 for international applicants).
