How to Apply
The graduate application process has two steps:
- Submit the online application to the Graduate College and pay the $60 application fee by credit card ($100 for international applicants).
- Submit supplemental materials required by your academic program. A few programs require materials to be sent directly to them However, almost all supplemental material can and should be uploaded from your Admissions Profile on MyUI, our online service center for applicants and students.
Application deadlines and required supplemental materials vary by academic program so it’s important that you review the program-specific instructions including supplemental materials required by your academic program.
Application fee waiver
Students who have limited financial resources and meet the requirements may request an Application Fee Waiver when applying for college. Additionally, participation in specific programs may qualify some applicants for an Application Fee Waiver.
Your HawkID and Password
Upon submission of the application, you will receive email instructions on how to establish your Hawk ID and password which you will use to access MyUI, our online service center for students and applicants. You will use your Admissions Profile to upload required supplemental materials and provide recommender information for the electronic letter of recommendation feature.
Upload your unofficial transcripts from your Admissions Profile. If you are admitted, you will need to provide official transcripts.
Additional requirements for International Applicants
