The Master of Clinical Nutrition program at the University of Iowa is an on-campus, non-thesis, 20-month graduate level program awarding the Master of Clinical Nutrition degree and verification statement providing eligibility to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration Entry-level Registration Examination for Dietitians.
Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the department offering the degree program.
Tuition and fees vary by degree program and the type of student you are.
One class of 16 students is enrolled in August each year. Applications are accepted starting in September and all materials for application must be received by June 1.

The Graduate Application Process
After applying through DICAS and approved by the Master of Clinical Nutrition program director, submit the online application to the Graduate College and pay the $60 application fee by credit card ($100 for international applicants).

Materials to Send to Admissions
- Send your official GRE scores from the Educational Testing Service (GRE Code 6681).
- The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of all applicants for whom English is not their native language. Official scores from ETS for the TOEFL must be received in order for your application to be reviewed. Send TOEFL scores via ETS using institution code 6681 and leave department code blank.
