The Carver College of Medicine offers these combined degrees in conjunction with other University of Iowa colleges as specified. Admission is restricted to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

• Medicine and Public Health (MD/MPH). The joint MD/MPH Program is offered by the Carver College of Medicine and the College of Public Health. Apply to the Graduate College and to the College of Medicine.
• Medicine and Business Administration (MD/MBA). The College of Medicine and the Tippie School of Management offer this joint degree program. Apply to the College of Medicine and to the Tippie School of Management.
• Medicine and law (MD/JD). The College of Medicine and the College of Law offer this joint program. Apply to the College of Medicine and to the College of Law.
• Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD). The Medical Scientist Training Program is a joint program offered by the College of Medicine and the Graduate College. Apply to the College of Medicine and to the Graduate College.
