Preference is given to applicants who have completed a bachelor's degree or are pursuing a combined degree in which they will earn a bachelor's degree during their first year in dentistry.

Estimated Cost of Attendance

Tuition and fees vary by degree program and the type of student you are.

  • File an application with the American Dental Education Association's Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS) beginning June 1 of the year preceding the year for which you seek admission.
    • Simultaneously send at least three (and no more than four) letters of recommendation and your official transcripts from each institution attended to the American Dental Education Association.
    • Completed AADSAS applications and Dental Admission Test (DAT) scores must be on file by Oct. 1. Apply as early as possible, even before you take the DAT.
